Learning in and Through Art: Perspectives, Methods and Practices

Visual arts education should be at the forefront of pedagogic and curricular considerations, given the integrative and assimilative contributions it can make in children’s learning processes. But in India, the visual arts remain at the periphery of our school education system. Our speakers Arundhati Ghosh (India Foundation for the Arts), Nisha Nair (ArtSparks Foundation), Roshni Ravi (Nature Conservation Foundation), and Sriram Ayer (Nalandaway) discuss approaches and experiences by CSOs in the space and other key issues concerning visual arts education.
