Wipro earthian Regional School Recognitions

Aripana Foundation

Location – Darbhanga, Bihar

In 2021, Aripana Foundation has engaged with more than 80 students from around 7 schools of Mithila, as part of the Wipro earthian program. The at regional awards event, the students were felicitated along with teachers at a cluster level gathering on 13th February 2022. Many schools were invited to participate to encourage participation and the event saw the launch of Wipro earthian 2022 program.

Earthjust Ecosystems

Location – Solan, Himachal Pradesh

To celebrate the efforts of 70 educators, who participated in the earthian program, Earthjust held a Gratitude Ceremony in collaboration with HIMCOSTE, DDEE, Solan, participating schools, Wipro Foundation & EarthJust Ecosystems Foundation. The ceremony was held on Saturday, 2nd April, 2022. To build the strong perspective of Sustainability Education in Solan district, 10 panelists, handling different departments on Sustainability in Education, shared their valuable inputs and thoughts on this platform.

Hume Centre for Ecology and Wildlife Biology

Location – Wayanad, Kerala

For the Wipro earthian 2021 competition, HUME center had 13 projects by students from 7 schools in Wayanad. Top 3 projects, among the 13 that were submitted, were selected for regional awards. Due to pandemic restrictions, small award ceremonies were conducted in their respective schools where the participating students and teachers were felicitated.

Navikru eco Foundation

LocationLadakh

Navikru Eco Foundation announced regional winners and distributed certificates by visiting Zanskar, Kargil and Leh in April and May month of 2022. Certificate distribution was done on the 11th  and 14th of April  in Zanskar and Kargil respectively. Certificate distribution for the Leh students was done on the 11th May by visiting each school.

Samavesh

LocationBhopal, Madhya Pradesh

The Wipro earthian regional event was hosted and organized by Government Higher Secondary School, Chunabhatti, Bhopal. About 200 children, 12 teachers, and the Samavesh team participated in the event. Certificates were given to all the children who had participated in the program along with honouring the principal and teachers of the winning school.
